George was a Crestview Original and one of the founders where he came to be known as Mr. MGA. He was a famous starter/rules official/organizer of numerous local MGA Events and Qualifiers and won several Club Championships at Crestview Country Club. The MGA Senior Player of the Year is awarded a trophy that bears his name.
